What is Leadership

This is a paper I wrote that explains what I consider to be key qualifications of an effective leader.  For this assignment I looked at effect leaders throughout the course of history and the qualities they possess. I cross examined those qualities to my own leadership skills to find out where I excel as a leader and also where I need to improve. Since writing this paper I have striven to maintain the qualities I already possessed and to improve on the ones that I lacked in.

   

Philosophy

This paper is my personalized coaching philosophy.  I had to sit and think about why I wanted to coach and what I wanted to bring to any team that I did coach. My biggest points are the emphasis of teamwork and unity. For a team to be successful, they have to be disciplined; to know their role and trust their teammate to help get the job done.

East Coast Soccer Organization

In this assignment my group and I had to organize a sports tournament of some sort that included people of different ages and sex. We decided to host a soccer tournament that included the top teams from every state along the East Coast. In this project we had to plan out every scenario that could occur during a tournament. We planned, budgeted, and brainstormed every aspect of a tournament from which teams got invited to what trophy the winning team received.
